Progressive Dinner on Casco Bay/ Part 1

Friday June 3rd we embarked on a progressive dinner. We set sail from Portland out onto beautiful Casco Bay around 5 P.M. and returned around 11 P.M. In the meantime we visited three islands and enjoyed a course of the meal on each.
First stop was Great Chebeague Island, and the Chebeague Island Inn. This inn was built in the 1920s. This is the big yellow inn in the pictures. We enjoyed drinks and lobster bisque on the porch. It was Very Good!
The first picture is looking at the inn from the boat, them the stroll up the hill, Carol and the lilacs, the porch.

This looks like heaven. All that green right up to the water. Dinner on the porch. Wow! Reminds me of my summer in Vermont.
