Progressive Dinner on Casco Bay/ Part 3

All of these islands are accessed only by ferry, so back we go to the boat for the third stop for the evening and our dessert.
This is the shortest of the three legs this time stopping at Peaks Island and dining at The Inn On Peaks Island. By now it is late and a little cold on the the water but we are welcomed with hot coffee (and most anything you want to put in it) and a delicious six inch high fresh strawberry short cake. Yum, Yum, Good.
This inn is known for doing weddings, however, the host informed us that there was only one date available. It was a Tuesday in October.
The last journey was about 15 minutes back to Portland. The sponsor of this trip was called Maine Foodie Tours.
Hoped you enjoyed the trip along with us.
